In June 2012, we surveyed 2000 office workers across all business sectors in France, Germany, Spain and the UK. Our goal was a deeper understanding of employee attitudes to information. Building on the area of Corporate Information Responsibility. We wanted to know the extent to which employees are aware of what constitutes good information security practice, find out whether good practice is wide-spread, and ask if employees are behaving responsibly in their day-to-day handling of their company’s sensitive information.
The stand out highlight for me has to be this one:
One in three (32%) employees have taken or have forwarded confidential information out of the office on more than one occasion.
